Who publishes this guide
The Jasper Marble Festival Guide is a Gold Peach Realty community guide. Gold Peach Realty is a real estate brokerage in North Georgia, and it publishes the site. The Jasper Marble Festival Guide Editorial Team writes and checks it.
The guide covers the Georgia Marble Festival in Jasper, Pickens County, Georgia, and the marble country around it: Tate, Nelson and Marble Hill. That means the festival schedule as it ran, parking and shuttles, the quarry tours, the parade, the history and the drive through Tate. A brokerage also cares about homes, which is why there are pages on living in Jasper and selling. Everything else is written for visitors first.
Independence
We are not the festival organizer. The Georgia Marble Festival is organized by the Pickens County Chamber of Commerce at pickenschamber.com, and VisitPickensGA.com is the Chamber’s own tourism site. We aren’t affiliated with the Chamber, the City of Jasper, Pickens County, Polycor, the Tate House or any venue we write about. We link to them because they’re the sources. They don’t review or endorse our pages.
How we source facts
Every time, price, address, phone number and date on this site comes from a source we read and link to. The organizer comes first: the Chamber’s festival pages and VisitPickensGA.com. Then come Know Pickens, the National Park Service, the Architect of the Capitol, the Georgia Historical Society, National Register nominations, the New Georgia Encyclopedia, the Tate House, the U.S. Census Bureau and dated local news such as the Pickens County Progress. Each fact carries the date we last checked it.
When sources disagree, we say so. The Chamber’s quarry-tour page gives two different tour lengths, so we tell readers to plan for about two and a half hours. The Chamber’s admission page now returns an error, so the 2026 admission prices we print come from the Know Pickens listing, and we name it. Drive times are our own routing estimates without traffic, and we label them that way. If we can’t confirm something, such as a parade route or a cabin’s tour hours, we leave it out and tell you who to ask.
The 2026 festival is over, and we write it in the past tense. We won’t print a 2027 date until the Chamber announces one.
How we use AI
AI tools help us draft; people check every fact before it publishes.
No paid placements
Nobody pays to appear on this guide today. If that ever changes, sponsored content will be clearly labeled as sponsored.
Photos, film and the map
There are no licensed photos of the festival itself on this site, and we don’t pretend otherwise. The photographs are real places, credited on our photo credits page, and each caption says where the photo was actually taken. The home page film is cut from those credited photos, and nothing in it is generated. The map is drawn from OpenStreetMap data.
Corrections
If something here is wrong or out of date, tell us which page, with a link to the source if you have one. We check it, fix the page and update the checked date. Longer answers live in our journal.
